What donors ask
Who runs Vanaprastam?
RBL Foundation, a registered public charitable trust (Reg. 62/2015), founded in 2011 by Robbi Srinivasa Rao, who is the Managing Trustee and runs the home day to day.
Is the trust registered and recognised?
Yes — registered under the Indian Trust Act, holding 12A income-tax registration, and recognised by the Govt. of A.P. as a senior-citizen home (Cert. 1 of 2019).
Can I see accounts or visit?
Accounts are audited. You are welcome to visit and verify on site; call +91 96666 22288 to arrange.
Is there an 80G tax benefit for donors?
Yes. The trust is registered under Section 80G, so donations are eligible for tax deduction in India. It also holds 12A registration, and a receipt is issued for every gift.
Where does my money go?
To the daily care of the 51 residents — food, medicine, healthcare — and to building the new home for 120 elders.
